Medication Uses How To Use Side Effects Precautions Drug Interactions Overdose Notes Missed Dose Storage USES: This combination medication is used to treat minor pain, itching, swelling, and discomfort caused by hemorrhoids and other problems of the anal area. It contains pramoxine, an anesthetic that temporarily numbs the area, and hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid that reduces redness, itching, and swelling. HOW TO USE: Read the Patient Instruction Sheet if available before using this product. Follow all instructions for filling and using the applicator. Clean the affected area before use. Shake the foam canister well and then gently insert the applicator tip. Push the plunger to release the foam and withdraw the applicator. Clean the applicator with warm water. For external use, spray a small amount of foam onto a tissue and pat onto the affected area. Wash hands after use. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, ears, or mouth. Use 3-4 times daily, or as directed. Do not use more than prescribed. Do not suddenly stop using without approval. Inform your doctor if your condition does not improve or worsens after 2-3 weeks.

SIDE EFFECTS: Redness, burning, or itching at the application site may occur. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if these effects persist or worsen. Tell your doctor immediately if serious side effects occur, such as rectal bleeding or signs of infection. Rarely, too much corticosteroid may be absorbed into the bloodstream, resulting in side effects. Contact your doctor right away if unusual/extreme tiredness, weight loss, headache, swelling ankles/feet, increased thirst/urination, or vision problems occur. Seek immediate medical attention if signs of a serious allergic reaction occur. This is not a complete list of possible side effects. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more information. PRECAUTIONS: Inform your doctor of any allergies or medical history, especially diabetes, eye problems, infections, liver disease, or stomach/intestinal problems. Use caution in children. Avoid using over a large area or tight-fitting diapers/plastic pants. During pregnancy, use only if clearly needed and for short durations. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
